Notice of Meetings
The Town of Grimsby is inviting all stakeholders in the downtown study area to 2 meetings next week, one pertaining to their ongoing parking study, and the other to discuss the next phase of Downtown Reimagined.
1st Meeting – Strategic Parking Management Study Phase 2

Tuesday November 28th
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Location:
Grimsby Peach King Centre Auditorium
This meeting will be focusing on the second (and final) phase of the study, and will be presenting the proposed recommendations to address parking challenges within the study areas. These recommendations have been developed based on the findings in Phase 1, as well as from information gathered from previous stakeholder meetings and public input. The recommendations are provided with the goal of addressing existing parking challenges, and, to support future parking demands. The meeting will be hosted by Town staff and our consultant for the project, RJ Burnside and Associates.

2nd Meeting – Downtown Reimagined Visioning Study

The Town of Grimsby along with our consultant, WSP Canada Inc., will be hosting a public information centre to gather input and feedback regarding the Town of Grimsby’s Downtown Reimagined study. This session is the one of the final steps towards the development of a vision for the Downtown public realm. This is intended to be an informal “open house” and allow guest to review the material and interact with members of the project team.
The material that will be presented is a culmination of the work done to date, the feedback and input collected throughout the duration of the project, and discussion regarding the proposed design of the public realm. Additionally, the project team will outline the next steps required in order to bring the project to completion.
